Project Onward exists to give a “visual voice” to artists with neurodiversity in order to tell their stories and change the perceptions of the world.
Project Onward has become a leader in the field of disability arts for its innovative blend of accuracy, artistic excellence, and social engagement. The Bridgeport-Chicago studio and gallery provide adult artists with neurodiversity the opportunity to create their work in a safe, supportive environment, free of charge.
WHO: Many of the artists explore their minds to create powerful works of fantasy, landscapes, and space. This exhibit features artists John Behnke, Bill Douglas, Louis DeMarco, James Hall, Luke Shemroske, Cherylle Booker, Blake Lenoir, Janno Juguilon, Jackie Cousins, Paul Kowalewski, Allen McNair, and Fernando Ramirez.
