Nexus Between Spaces, Ron Gard Retrospective

 

3D4D is honored to host its inaugural exhibition “Nexus Between Spaces”, a retrospective of Ron Gard’s artwork, featuring small and medium size sculptures and a digital display of images highlighting Ron’s artistic legacy. Ron and his wife Ivy Gard generously made possible the new physical location for CSI to initiate 3D4D.

Ron, a well known local Chicago sculptor, passed away in 2019. A long time board member of CSI, Ron has been making sculpture since 1977, and his work has been exhibited throughout the country. He was a large contributor for multiple Chicago public sculpture shows, including the famous Chicago Lakefront Show, 2012-2013, hosted by the Chicago Park District.

Join us as 3D4D by CSI opens the exhibit to the public April 23. The exhibit will run six weeks through June 5, 2021.

This is an in-person event, limited occupancy inside (7-8 people) with staggered gallery visits, observing social distancing, masks required.
