Photoshop for Play is a four-week virtual workshop designed to tap into your creative instincts using Adobe Photoshop! Photoshop can seem overwhelming and complicated sometimes, but it’s also a software full of possibilities that can be used to unlock creativity and allow for experimentation. During this workshop, Liat Noten will take students through multiple creative techniques and tools in Photoshop and discuss how to source royalty-free images online. By the end of the four weeks, participants will create one or two color-packed collages showcasing each person’s unique Photoshop style. This course is for anyone who wants to learn creative strategies, get out of the box, practice self-expression and have some FUN!
Techniques and tools covered in the course include:
-Layer blending
-Creative selection techniques
-Noise gradients
-Smart filters
-Sourcing royalty-free images
Participants will need to have their own Adobe Photoshop account and subscription to use for the course. Some prior knowledge of Photoshop is recommended, but you do not need to be an expert by any means. Zoom sessions will be recorded and shared only with the participants for a limited time to help complete class assignments between sessions.
This class will be meeting on Zoom on Wednesday evenings from March 17th-April 7th, 2021 from 6:30-8:30 CST. Spots will be limited to 8 participants so grab your spot early!
