No Gray Area
@ One River School Evanston
1033 Davis St Evanston, IL 60201
Opening Friday, October 2nd, from 5PM - 8PM
On view through Thursday, October 29th
One River School – Evanston is hosting a photography exhibition which highlights a revolution happening in our country right now. This year, there has been a growth in momentum toward greater social justice and equality that is the Black Lives Matter movement. All around the U.S., protests have erupted almost daily as citizens stand up and fight for the rights of people of color.
Amongst all the protestors have been photographers, bravely capturing these events, and creating photographs that tell the undeniable truth of this movement. We wanted to highlight some of those photographers, in a group exhibition we are hosting here at the school called “No Gray Area”.
We are inviting you to come see the work of Jesse Greene, Trevor Jackson, and Ashley Binkowski. There will be an opening reception for this exhibition on Friday, October 2nd from 5 to 8pm and the photographs will remain up through the month of October. We’ve chosen the Evanston/North Shore NAACP as the recipients of 25% of total sales from this show and we hope that you will come out to support this cause, our community partners, and these artists.
