The Night Gallery: Ciera McKissick & Spinning Home Movies: avery r. young
This event will present two new works: screening a new video work by Ciera McKissick, “Black Independence Day All Day” and “eryday. new mercy(s) pt. 2,” a live performance by avery r. young, in collaboration with South Side Home Movies Project ongoing series Spinning Home Movies with musicians Corey J. Wilkes and Justin Dillard. The presentation of the works will be followed by a short conversation moderated by Bobby Price of Principle Barbers.
Food & drinks will be served. In consideration of the ongoing covid-19 pandemic, this event will take place with 6-foot social distancing; masks will be required at all events. Please RSVP so we can manage crowd sizes in public space.
