Pour One Out will return to the virtual space on Wednesday July 8th at 7pm. The theme: This Place I Call Home.
What does home mean to you in light of the various crises we are facing as a nation? How do you reckon with oppression, inequality, and violence prevalent within this space we call home? Where is home really? What does it mean to have a home and to be home?
Eight storytellers will explore this theme through personal narrative:

You don’t want to miss this group of new, emerging, and experienced tellers. You don’t hear from them often, but they have important stories to tell. Join us for an evening of vulnerable and engaging storytelling at the virtual space.
Pour One Out, produced and hosted by Ada Cheng, is a growing storytelling community. We feature strong and unique voices. We build community through intimacy and vulnerability. We are committed to cultivating and developing new and emerging tellers as we bring tellers of all experience levels together. We strive for equitable inclusion.
Producer and host:
Ada Cheng is a professor-turned storyteller, solo performer, and storytelling producer. She has been featured in storytelling shows and done her two solo performances all over the country. She is the producer and the host of four storytelling shows, including Pour One Out: A Monthly Storytelling Series, Am I Man Enough?, Talk Stories: An Asian American/Asian Diaspora Storytelling Show, and Speaking Truths Series.
