Lillstreet Textiles Artist-in-Residence Cassie Tompkins presents “At Sea” in our Second Floor Gallery, March 20–April 12, 2020.

Please join us for an Artist Talk on Friday, April 10 at 5:45PM, followed by a reception from 6–8PM. Light refreshments will be served!

Cassie Tompkins’ latest works on fabric consider the passage of time and a shifting landscape in a poetic and literal sense. She uses techniques of shibori arashi and monoprinting with dyes to create abstract imagery referencing water, flowers, and skyscapes. The pigments swirl and spread, traveling throughout the fibers in search of their bearings.
