Family Day: Wigtastic Weaving

Opening Saturday, March 7th, from 1PM - 4PM

Learn how to weave using wild wigs and colorful fake hair as yarn! Plus, try out a new hairstyle—local stylists will be on hand to teach guests of all ages the arts of braiding. The activities are inspired by artist gu wenda’s united nations: american code, a tent made from colorful braids of hair on view in The Allure of Matter.

FREE. Art-making supplies and other materials are provided. Family programs are best for kids 4–12, but all ages are welcomed! Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
