As part of the centennial celebration of the German Bauhaus, join curators Alison Fisher and Erica Warren for a lively conversation about two exhibitions at the Art Institute that chart Chicago’s dynamic legacy of progressive arts education and practice—”Bauhaus Chicago: Design in the City” and “Weaving beyond the Bauhaus.”

Featuring curator Elizabeth Siegel, Art Institute of Chicago; scholars T’ai Smith, University of British Columbia; and Maggie Taft, University of Chicago, this roundtable explores the remarkable local afterlives of the German school in the fields of architecture, design, fiber arts, and photography.
