Join us for our 5th annual evening series of lively conversations with contemporary local artists, with wine and refreshments, where we explore exceptional artist studios and unique collections within our hometown of Evanston! This year we will be eight visiting local artists throughout the year: Ben Blount, Melissa Blount, David Gista, Sarah Kaiser, Daniela Kovacic, Victoria Loeb, Juliane von Kunhardt, and Kathy Halper.
This program was formerly known as YOUTIME. Proceeds help support our community art outreach programs in local schools.
When: Thursdays, 7:30-9:00pm
Where: Art Spaces throughout Evanston
Price: Art Encounter Members: $22/session or $75/series of 4. Non-members: $25/session or $85/series of 4.
About us: At Art Encounter, we believe that art should be accessible for everyone. Our mission is to educate, empower, and connect people of all ages and backgrounds though interactive encounters with art. We take members into artists’ studios and private collections, leading conversations that connect them with the art and with one another. Our outreach programs bring enriching art experiences to ten times as many, in the public schools and in senior residences. And our murals transform the walls and the lives of the whole community.
