The Chicago community is invited to spend the night at Ground Level Platform for Sleepover: thealmostanyspacewhatever, a one-night sleepover event of art games that merges public and domestic space. The exhibition space will be transformed into an encompassing pillow-fortscape, featuring soft sculpture and fiber-based work from artists Seomy Ahn, Nolan Barry, Naomi Elson, Samuel Ezra Fisch, Cecilia Iwata, Jacklynn Kelsey, and Lauren Lacoponi that will be incorporated into the built environment. Note for slumberers: Pick your pajamas! We strongly encourage you to bring a pillow and blanket if possible.
