Join us for the opening reception for works from the Fall 2019 Bridge Program, this will be an evening of artist talks by participants in the program to learn about how their projects developed and get insight into their studio practice. Artists include: Christie Helm, Danielle Andress, Charlie Manion, Jessica Pierotti, Noelle Africh, and Monica Plioplyte. The 2019 Bridge Program Facilitator & Curator is Rhonda Wheatley.
The Bridge Program at Hyde Park Art Center fosters generative dialogue among a select group of artists in a seminar-style course designed to push ones art practice to the next level. Over the course of 10 weeks, artists refine project ideas, articulate the central concerns of their practice, deepen the conceptual grounding of their work, and situate their practice within a wider contemporary art context.
