During Nov. 9 and Nov. 10 (11 am to 5 pm) Paseo Boricua will present a series of activities for the enjoyment of the community and Chicago visitors:
– 3rd Annual Boricua Film Festival at Pedro Albizu Campos High School 2739 W. Division – organized by filmmaker and writer Carlos Jimenez Flores (FREE of CHARGE).
Show Times: 12 to 2 pm and 3 to 5 pm
– Rican Renaissance (Literature and Art) 2628 and 2606 W. Division Street – organized by local artist and muralist Luis Muñoz (ART and BOOKS for SALE)
– Wellness in El Barrio at Free Body Physical Therapy 2618 W. Division Street.
-Saturday there is Acupuncture by appointment only – pay what you can (https://www.chiaraacu.com/)
-Sunday there will be yoga, meditation, reiki, poetry circle and a presentation from EmpowHer for women – Organized by poet and therapist Dorian Ortega. Most events are free but donations are welcome.
– ¡WEPA! Community Pop Up November Edition Artisan Bazaar – organized by PRCC’s Business Development Initiative led by Nadya Henriquez Lowy
