Website Branding Continuity is the final workshop in a four workshop series led by Juliet Dawn called Prepare for Opportunity: a professional development workshop
It’s not enough to have a website because it’s expected of you. Websites are the primary tool for showcasing your work on your terms. This workshop will guide you through the basic framework of building your website with emphasis on purposefully implementing your core values into your brand identity. We will discuss how to create continuity between your language, design aesthetic, and visual media that produce a strong call to action for attracting the connections that you seek. Both newcomers and tech savvy creators are welcome, as this interactive lecture will focus equally on website building essentials and branding strategy for pre-established sites.
Please note: Use of a laptop or tablet may be useful for this workshop, but is not required.
Objectives:
+ How to outline a website before beginning to build
+ Organizational strategies for creating an easy-to-navigate site
+ Identifying your target audience and how to connect with them
+ Real-time feedback on current website design, if applicable (optional)

+ Wheelchair – The Martin is a storefront studio with wheelchair accessible common space. The bathroom can accommodate a wheelchair however lacks hand grips.
+ Seating – Options are inclusive of varying needs including: benches, unarmed chairs, and table seating. Participants are welcome to bring supplementary options for added comfort at their convenience.
