Talking While Female: Storytelling Sessions (TWF) is Teatro Luna West’s flagship monthly series featuring original stories from Latinas and Women of Color who have something to share that will impact us all. This evening’s theme is CRISP

Episode 20 will take place is October 3rd, 2019. Doors open at 7 pm with stories beginning at 7:30pm at Back of the Yards Coffeehouse Co.

Started at #StudioLuna in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles we are bringing this edition of TWF to CHICAGO with Back of the Yards Coffeehouse Co. for the first time! Join us for brand new stories and for inspiration through the power of truth-telling and vulnerability from artists, activists, makers, writers and thinkers! We invite you to ride in the passenger seat and watch these epic tales unfold as we cast a light and a mic on voices as an act of resistance to erasure.

This episode we feature Liza Ann Acosta, Tanuja Devi, Ash Land and Ruth Guerra!

We are partnering with Back of the Yards Coffeehouse Co., a coffee roaster that honors the working class tradition of the Chicago Stockyards through social & economic impact. #BackofTheYardsCoffeehouse is woman and Latinx owned coffee company in the south side of Chicago with a mission as bold as its coffee.

10 free tickets for residents of Back of the Yards (first come first served) and $15 with advanced purchase for all other guests.
