Opening Tuesday, October 1st, from 6PM - 7:30PM

Park McArthur creates work that varies materially and formally and often engages critiques of autonomy through the ready-made. The artist is interested in dependency in its many instantiations, but particularly under the guidance and instruction of debility and disability. McArthur’s works often take the form of sculptures and installations that are conceptually driven and made of utilitarian objects.
Presented in partnership with the Society for Contemporary Art
An ASL interpreter will be on site, and CART captioning will be available on any personal device with internet access.
Persons with disabilities requesting accommodations for this lecture event should visit saic.edu/access
