Join us for an intimate performance with multi-disciplinary artist Marvin Tate. Presented in conjunction with Intuit’s current exhibition, Looking at You From a Distance Not Too Far: Work by Marvin Tate, the artist will perform songs, poems and narratives spanning his 20-year-plus career. Blending humor, storytelling and social commentary, Tate’s unique performance style ranges from soul to spoken word to avant garde or, in the words of the artist himself, “TED Talk meets Funkadelic”.
