The National Museum of Mexican Art invites you to Día de los Muertos Xicágo on Sunday, October 27th from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Join us as we celebrate Día de los Muertos and transform the Museum and surrounding park into a beautiful space for remembering our departed loved ones. On this special day, guests will enjoy heartfelt ofrendas (altars), live musical performances, face painting, art activities, and Pan de Muerto (traditional Day of the Dead Bread).
We invite families and individuals to take part in the event by creating ofrendas (altars) in Harrison Park or by sharing a photograph of a departed loved one to be incorporated into a large illuminated ofrenda projected onto the Museum’s exterior.
Read more details about creating your own ofrenda and reserve your spot here: https://www.dayofthedeadxicago.org/
Upload your picture for the photo memorial here: https://www.dayofthedeadxicago.org/
Día de los Muertos Xicágo is free and open to the pubic and will take place rain or shine.
