SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH, OPENING RECEPTION FOR
STARK MINUS, 4pm-9pm. Stark Minus is a self-taught artist
from Gary who has been drawing with pencil, charcoal and prismacolor and painting with water color for 4 decades. He recently began exploring digital techniques that have boosted his production and strengthened and diversified his content.
The more than 65 piece collection that will be in this show was all created digitally. All pieces on display and for sale are prints. There will be framed and unframed pieces.
The themes of Stark Minus’ work are heavily introspective, reflecting the artist’s belief that “to confront the dark within is to dance with your true self and become the reality of your dreams.”
The show will remain installed through mid October. Regular gallery hours are 11a.m. til 5:30pm. Tuesday through Friday.
