Tara Betts is the author of Break the Habit and Arc & Hue, the chapbooks 7 x 7: kwansabas and THE GREATEST!: An Homage to Muhammad Ali. In addition to her work appearing in several anthologies and journals, her features have appeared in Hello Giggles, Sixty Inches From Center, Mosaic Magazine, NYLON, NewCity, The Source, and Poetry magazine. She is part of the MFA faculty at Stonecoast – University of Southern Maine. Tara is also the Poetry Editor at Another Chicago Magazine and The Langston Hughes Review. Tara also hosts author chats at the Seminary Co-Op bookstores in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood.
Leor Galil is a staff writer for the Chicago Reader and a freelance culture journalist. His work has appeared in The Washington Post, Pitchfork, RollingStone.com, MTV News, Spin Magazine, The Washington City Paper, The A.V. Club, and one too many newspapers and websites that have shuttered. He was voted the third best pizza in the city for the Reader’s 2017 Best of Chicago poll.
Maggie Queeney is the author of settler, winner of 2017 Baltic Writing Residency Poetry Chapbook Contest. Recipient of the Stanley Kunitz Memorial Prize and a Ruth Stone Scholarship, her most recent work can be found in The American Poetry Review, Denver Quarterly, and The North American Review.
Naomi Washer is the author of Phantoms (dancing girl press) and American Girl Doll (Ursus Americanus Press) and the translator of Sebastián Jiménez Galindo’s Experimental Gardening Manual (Toad Press). Her work has appeared in Court Green, Asymptote, Sundog Lit, Split Lip Magazine, and other journals. She is the editor-in-chief of Ghost Proposal.
