Opening Sunday, September 22nd, from 2PM - 4PM
Please join us for WMG’s Literary event “Consumerism & Consumption” on Sunday, September 22, 2019, from 2 to 4 p.m. Curated by Nina Corwin, poets will share their work exploring that which we consume and can become consumed by.
So much to say about consumers and consumption! There’s food and other consumables, commercialism and the preoccupation of society with the acquisition of consumer goods, hunger and greed, supply and demand, abundance and scarcity, buyers and sellers, compulsive spending, hoarding, debt and more.
These poems by Rachel Hinton, Lauren Scharhag, Jennifer Steele, Kristin Quillen, Sheri Reda, and Nellie Vinograd exploring the stuff of consumption and consuming will make for quite an interesting and exciting afternoon.
