Ari’s Art Space is excited to present one of the largest Graffiti Art Exhibitions in Chicago’s history, at Workshop 4200, July 19th and 20th.
“Intentionally Left Bla_k”, The Origins of Style Writing and other Urban Myths— exhibit salutes NYC graffiti writing legends T-KID170, SKEME, KADE198, CHAIN3, as well as ACRIME, NOXER, ANDRE TRENIER and OLGA from NYC.
This incredible New York City line-up will also be accompanied by some of Chicago’s most prominent graffiti artists ISH, STEF, SLANG, TEEL, KANE, NERD, EMTE, AMUSE126, TRIXTER…and featuring unseen works by NYC graffiti photo journalist Martha Cooper.
This is a must-see show for graffiti art enthusiasts, collectors and anyone curious about this controversial sub-cultural movement.
