@ Fulton Street Collective
1821 W Hubbard St, Chicago, IL 60622
Opening Friday, June 21st, from 7PM - 10PM
The Fulton Street Collective is proud to present the works of visual artist Marcin Mikołajczak Friday June 21st in our main gallery.
Marcin Mikołajczak is a painter who uses an unconventional style and an individual technique. His works are characterized by the depth of color and authenticity of the depicted figures.
The artist constantly travels around the world and always looks for inspiration for his paintings. He has already visited more than 60 countries and shows fascination for them in his oil-painted works. During his meetings with extraordinary people in their natural environment, which is often inaccessible to tourists, he takes photos, sketches the figures and adds them later details that are characteristic of his art. Marcin Mikołajczak shows in his works real emotions, which in their message seem very authentic to every recipient of his art.
Through the sophisticated technique and selection of unusual themes of his paintings, the artist gives them their own remarkable atmosphere. The concern for the artistic side of his work is complemented by linen supports, which are primed and selected by him and dedicated frames, which the artist chooses individually to each painting.
Marcin Mikołajczak experiments a lot with new painting materials and techniques. He always looks for exciting motifs, objects and impulses, which he then uses in his works. He also likes taking part in open air painting events. Furthermore, he cooperates with leading galleries in Poland and around the world. The artist’s works have been exhibited many times in Poland and abroad.
