We are pleased to present a one-night painting pop-up exhibition and fundraiser featuring painters: Inhye Lee, David Heo and Yae Jee Min.
“우리집” (Our House) will be held on Sunday, May 12th, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Congruent Space (1216 W Grand Ave). 우리집 literally translates to “our house,” and is pronounced “uri-jeep.” It’s one of the most commonly used phrases representative of Korea’s collectivist culture.
All the proceeds from sales will be donated to the Korean Cultural Center of Chicago for both merit and need based scholarships in support of Korean high school students hoping to pursue a bachelor of fine arts degree.
Reception will be hosted the entirety of the show from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Join the artists for complimentary drinks and refreshments.
