Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of screenplay writing and how mastering format and visual storytelling are essential to building a career as a filmmaker.

Session Two, April 30: Getting Started on Your Screenplay (Building Structure through Character)

Building on the basics of screenplay format, students will get a crash course on the fundamentals of three-act structure and how narrative is driven by character, obstacles, stakes, and conflict.
