Artist Leonardo Drew manipulates materials like wood, rusted iron, and mud to create imposing sculptures that still maintain connections to the gallery wall.

Several of Drew’s large-scale abstract works are featured in the Smart Museum’s exhibition ‘Solidary & Solitary‘, through May 19.
