Elena Ailes: mmmmmmummmmmm
@ Adler & Floyd
3537 S Western Blvd, Chicago, IL 60609
Opening Saturday, April 13th, from 7PM - 10PM
On view through Saturday, May 4th
This exhibition is the production of a plane of composition that abstracts sensation from the body.
This exhibition is a field of ems, literal ‘m’s, the lowercase Latin alphabet letter of ‘m’. Here, the ‘m’ stands as a locus of pleasure and dissent (mmm being a universal sound of release and a call to pause).
This exhibition is a lame attempt to create an image san single point perspective, but if we never try, we will never know. This exhibition contains objects that have never been held accountable for the curve of their history.
This exhibition smells like pencils and/or dill pickles. (RIP The Dill Pickle, SE corner of Clark and Erie. Step High Stoop Low Leave Your Dignity Outside. Chicago, where did hide her?)
