Join us for Inspection, an immersive, multi-channel sound work by acclaimed composer and sound experimentalist Florian Hecker. Leveraging the Poetry Foundation’s acoustically perfected performance space, Hecker uses computer-generated sound and a synthetic voice that morphs from machine to human, the sound disintegrating from recognizable speech to increasingly abstract sounds. Founded in 1997, Lampo promotes and supports artists working in experimental music and intermedia by commissioning, producing, and presenting special projects and performances.
