Molasses is a new space manifested by a group of Chicago artists (Lucy Stoole, Onyx, Choya, Najee). The name Molasses, a substance with several ties to the history and power of Blackness, represents who is most centered in our new series. Molasses aims to create both community and opportunity for Black, non-cisgender, trans, and gender non-conforming folks and non-cisgender people of color.
Please join us next Thursday, March 21st at Berlin NightClub for a night of talented Chicago visual and musical artists. Molasses wants to provide avenues for Black, non-cisgender artists of various disciplines to come together, share space, and exercise their artistry.
