Sketch Class: Exploring Abstraction

Multi-session sketch classes offer the chance to draw in the museum’s galleries under the guidance of experienced instructors. All materials will be provided.
Immerse yourself in the language of abstraction and discover how to transform representational imagery by sketching abstract artworks from various cultures and time periods. Explore materials, strategies, and approaches for non-representational drawing in this six-week course.

Although all levels are welcome, participants in this particular course may find it helpful to have some experience with drawing.
Classes are for people ages 16 and up.
