Lise Haller Baggesen
WHY PAINTED PONIES ARE THE GATEWAY DRUG TO ART SCHOOL AND THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART

Lise left her native Denmark in 1992 to study painting at the AKI, and the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam. She has received Prins Bernhard’s Prize and the Royal Award for Modern Painting, as well as two Propeller Fund Awards. She completed her MA in Visual and Critical Studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, with a SAIC VCS Fellowship Award.

Shannon R. Stratton
A NATIONAL GUIDE TO GRASS-ROOTS

After completing her MFA in 2003 she co-founded the artist-run organization, Threewalls (Chicago), where she was artistic and then executive director for 12 years. In 2015 she left Threewalls to assume the role of Chief Curator at The Museum of Arts and Design in New York and pursue her interest in the future of craft.

Faith Wilding
FAITH WILDING’S FEARFUL SYMMETRIES

Wilding is a trans-media artist, writer, activist and educator, engaging intersections of feminism with social justice, cyberfeminism, biotechnology, radical pedagogy, eco-feminism. Wilding’s practice addresses the recombinant
bio-cultural,biotech reproductive war body in 2D, video, digital media, installations, and performances.
