After spending the past few years embracing the spirit of Santa Barbara and recently returning to Chicago with her premiere exhibition, “Coming Full Circle,” Melanee Cooper pays homage to her West Coast experiences with the exhibition, “California.” Featuring Californian artists Julie B. Montgomery, Rhiannon Griego, and Elise Vazelakis, the show features an artistic translation of the soft energy of the Golden State, inspired by the varied landscapes, textures, and colors prominent in California life.
