DIFFA Art for Life Chicago benefit
@ Venue West
221 N Paulina St, Chicago, IL 60607
Opening Thursday, October 18th, from 6PM - 10PM
On view through Thursday, October 18th
DIFFA/Chicago’s highly anticipated Art For Life Chicago benefit is back for a second year Thursday, October 18, 2018 with a juried live and silent auction of some of the biggest names in the contemporary art world.
Nearly 80 pieces of contemporary art, including painting, photography, sculpture and other 3D media from emerging and established artists will be vetted by a professional jury and available for sale at the annual fundraiser. In addition to the auctions, Art For Life Chicago will again feature the crowd-pleasing “Off the Wall” element, in which guests purchase & cut for themselves a desired piece of a giant art canvas, to create their own, one-of-a-kind keepsake from the night. Keeping the action going will be a DJ spinning tunes, and a plentiful buffet and open bars provided by J & L Catering.
Similar to its inaugural happening in 2017, DIFFA/Chicago expects to attract a crowd of sophisticated Chicagoans with an interest in art and supporting the efforts of DIFFA, Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS. All proceeds benefit those living with and vulnerable to HIV/AIDS.
Art For Life Chicago provides an opportunity to invest in the culture of our times while also raising vital funds to help communities most impacted by HIV.
Art For Life Chicago takes place at Venue West, 221 N. Paulina Street, October 18, 2018, from 6 – 10pm. Tickets, priced at only $100.00, are now available by visiting www.diffachicago.org or calling 312-644-6412.
