Black Lunch Table: Wikipedia Edit-a-thon

Opening Tuesday, October 2nd, from 6PM - 8PM
Contribute to the visibility of visual artists of the African Diaspora with the Black Lunch Table (BLT). An ongoing collaboration between artists Heather Hart and Jina Valentine, BLT hosts a Wikipedia edit-a-thon that begins with a training session for participants, and assistance is provided throughout the event.
This program takes place in the Commons on the museum’s second floor. All writing levels welcome. Participants should bring a laptop; power and snacks provided.
Workshops in the Commons are coauthored and designed by Chicago community groups and the MCA’s Partnerships and Engagement Liaison Gibran Villalobos.
