Jewelry Design Studio is for jewelry makers who want to set aside a time for practice and development of their skills in the company of fellow jewelry makers. Steve Adams, the facilitator, is an experienced jewelry designer and teacher who has a wealth of knowledge to suggest creative solutions for your jewelry design challenges. In this informal workshop atmosphere is an opportunity to share best practices, trade beads, learn new techniques and deepen your understanding of what, how and why you make jewelry.
Jewelry Design Studio can help you find inspiration for new projects. Save money by creating distinctive jewelry to give as gifts, especially for the holidays; make money by selling your hand crafted designs. These classes have inspired participants to create and sell jewelry at Life Force Arts Center and other venues
Please bring your own jewelry making tools, materials such as crystals or beads and a tray that is divided into sections to put your stones in. Some materials will be provided.
Steven Blaine Adams is an artist and designer who works with natural materials like stones and crystals to create symbols with spiritual resonance. The son of an astrologer and Tarot reader, Steve has been doing readings professionally for over 30 years, combining the Aquarian Tarot with the healing properties of gemstones. He is LFAC’s Associate Artistic Director and store designer. Steve attributes meditation, art, ritual and spiritual connection as instrumental catalysts in his path towards healing.
