Join us September 6th at the Bridgeport Art Center Skyline Loft as we celebrate five years of bringing garden education to Chicago!
Join us at the beautiful Skyline Loft space for an evening of garden-inspired cocktails, a garden-to-table dinner from incredible chefs Jason Vincent of Giant, and Paul Virant of Vie Restaurant & Vistro, and a live auction to bring the benefits of garden education to additional children in underserved Chicago communities.
This year, we are thrilled be honoring the former Mayor Richard M. Daley with the Growing Healthy Futures Award for his long standing dedication to the youth of Chicago.
Together with communities, Gardeneers works to empower students to connect with healthy food through experiential, garden-based learning. Gardeneers cultivates customized school garden programs to ensure each space, and the students and communities who care for it, connect with healthy food and grow to their full potential.
Since 2014, Gardeneers has grown to 25 Chicago schools serving under-resourced, food desert communities by providing direct, hands-on instruction with 2,300 students in our school gardens each week.
