Artist Sadie Woods presents Centro Social, or Social Club, a one-night exploration and showcase of music, visual culture, and contemporary art and entertainment.
Featuring Arrington Porter, Momo-dono, Lional “Brother El” Freeman, A.J. McClenon, Allen Moore, Chris Paquette, and Afra Williams.
Underground art cool meets the nightclub in Centro Social with a roster of artists that mix dj aesthetics and electronic music, sound and video art, and live musical performance. This evening affair is part contemporary art and part social club in the tradition of Black and Brown culture-making.
Centro Social is presented by Elastic Arts, in partnership with the Elastro and Dark Matter series. Join us Friday, July 13, from 8:00pm-12:00am at Elastic Arts, 3429 West Diversey Avenue, #208, Chicago, IL 60647. $10 cover.
