Olivia Schreiner: Nascent Things closing (with Donuts!)
@ Tiger Strikes Asteroid Chicago
319 N Albany Ave, Chicago, IL 60612
Opening Sunday, June 10th, from 12PM - 2PM
On view through Saturday, June 16th
Please join our featured artist Olivia Schreiner on Sunday, June 10 at Tiger Strikes Asteroid for a closing reception (with donuts!) from 12-2pm.
Nascent Things is an exhibition of paintings and drawings that reflects Schreiner’s observations of particular light effects in her daily surroundings. In this new body of work, she presents instances when light is emerging from darkness. For Schreiner the contrast that occurs in these transitions is not only visually captivating but also serves as a useful metaphor for the dark and dumbfounding times we find ourselves in.
