Every year on June 21st, musicians of all kinds pour onto the streets, parks, plazas and porches of Chicago to share their music with friends, neighbors and strangers, and celebrate the rich musical diversity of our communities. Make Music Chicago invites everyone to discover their ability to make music, regardless of age, ability, or preferred musical style.
Make Music Chicago is a proud member of Make Music, a free celebration of music around the world on June 21st. Launched in 1982 in France as the Fête de la Musique, it is now held on the same day in more than 800 cities in 120 countries.
High Concept Labs is thrilled to present musicians and ensembles from the Pilsen neighborhood alongside past and present Sponsored Artists for this special day of music.
