The Warrior Queens Pop-Up Shop will feature one-of-a-kind and limited edition gifts including (but not limited to) greeting cards for the socially conscious, comic book fan art, protest gear, delicious treats, natural body scrubs, beautiful jewelry and handmade handbags from Senegal. The Warrior Queens Pop-Up Shop is committed to highlighting the beauty, strength and resilience of underrepresented, marginalized communities. Our products and vendors will unapologetically represent and celebrate these communities. Get ready to shop for Mother’s Day, birthdays and all of those special days in between!

The profits from the sale of the handmade bags from Senegal will benefit families that have escaped slavery in Mauritania, and, in acknowledging the strength of our collective action, all of our vendors will be making a donation to two local non-profit partners;

Deborah’s Place: Creating opportunities to homeless women in Chicago and Compound Yellow, an independent artist run space in Oak Park, celebrating a culture of sharing, peer to peer learning and collective action. In addition to this group donation, some items for sale at the fair will have 100% of their profits donated to the same local non-profit. We hope our donation and act of solidarity serves to show our appreciation for their committed work.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Warrior Queens Pop-Up Shop where you can build community, celebrate justice and shop with a social impact.
