The Fulton Street Collective is proud to present the work of Muhan Jiang on Friday, May 4th at 7pm.
Muhan’s paintings in this exhibition question the authenticity of memory, photography and intimate relationships. Through experimentation with diverse materials and surfaces and subject matter ranging from animals to nudes to portraits of family members, the artist considers the nature of representation in contemporary painting.
Muhan Jiang was born in China and currently lives and studies in Chicago at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago
