Have you ever wondered what makes up the clay and glazes that you use? Or what is reduction and how does it affect your glazed works? Look no further.

In this free Resident Artist tech talk, Nolan will explain all the mysteries of the ceramic universe. Learn where clay comes from, what materials glazes are composed, and how they all react in a kiln. You will also learn about a variety of other materials that are very important in the ceramic process. This presentation will be full of colorful images, easy to understand language, and lots of useful information for even the most novice of potters.
