Chicago-based artist Sandra Abbo integrates photography, ribbons, and silks to create layers and layers of abstract compositions

Her new body of work is an exploration of light refraction and color. She has always been drawn to unexpected forms created by light shining on various surfaces.

In these series of prints on metal, she captures the transient moments of joy these reflections evoke.
