Please join us for a conversation and Q & A with Lora Lode and Dylan Cale Jones. Lora and Dylan will discuss Dylan’s project Observation Devices, currently on view in Compound Yellow’s exhibition space. Observation Devices invokes the name of the Chicago Police Department’s surveillance cameras. These cameras are called Police Observation Devices. Observation Devices is an expansion and critique of the Chicago Police Department’s surveillance infrastructure. Its intention is to decenter the picture of the public generated by the Chicago Police Department.
