Join us at Marz Community Brewing Co. for the opening receptions of ‘Song Poems’ by Jeremiah Chiu (in the Marz Gallery) and Adi Goodrich’s mural (in the Marz Tap Room).
Marz Gallery will be presenting ‘Song Poems’, Jeremiah Chiu’s first solo exhibition at the gallery that will be focused on visual music, graphic scores, and translations of language/sound into image. In the tap room, Marz will be presenting Adi Goodrich’s mural that covers both the entrance and Tap Room walls.
In conjunction with the exhibition, Jeremiah and Marz have collaborated on a limited edition brew—a New England style double IPA deemed Can Music: Drum for Inventive Percussion Artists (DIPA)—referencing Steve Reich’s Clapping Music as well as other composers of graphic/cell notation.
Additionally, Adi and Marz have collaborated on another limited edition brew, Dans le Sud—a bottle conditioned Brett Saison—that features elements from the mural re-packaged onto the bottle.
Both artists will present their work and beers from 5:00pm – 8:00pm
