Prairie is pleased to present Sand Dollar Sea Biscuit, a solo exhibition by London-based artist Emily Jones. The exhibition will open March 17 from 6-10, with a performance at 7pm. The show runs March 17 – April 22, 2018.

The five white doves awaiting
To spread good will and peace.
The five white doves are parts of the sand dollar’s mouth.
The mouth of a sand dollar, and other urchins, is called the Aristotle’s lantern.
The identically same object is exchanged back and forth between partners.
The sole purpose of exchange is to draw relationships closer by strengthening the ties of reciprocity.

Emily Jones (British, b. 1987) is a London-based visual artist. She’s recently had solo exhibitions at First Continent (Baltimore), VEDA (Florence), Cordova (Vienna), and Almanac (Turin).
