On the occasion of the opening of “Mounira Al Solh: I strongly believe in our right to be frivolous,” Al Solh will discuss her multi-year drawing and embroidery project in the context of the recent histories of the Middle East in which her work is embedded. The artist will be interviewed by exhibition curators, Hendrik Folkerts, Dittmer Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, and Jordan Carter, Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art.
