General Membership Meeting: Social Media for Sculptors, Meet the Experts
Panel guests include Lauren Serra Henderson, Creative director for Wise Apple, and Olivia Rozdolsky, curator at the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art and CSI members: Dusty Forwarczny, co-founder Ink Factory Studio, Dan Shaunnessey, Janet Austin and newest board member, Ricardo Mondragon.
The meeting focuses on three main platforms: Facebook, Web pages and Instagram. Content presented for each platform:
1.) Why is it important to have and maintain
2.) Resources, list links to help artists with social media
3.) Top 5 tips
This workshop will appeal to all CSI members from experts to beginners at using social media. The question of “Why use social media” can range from basic needs to speculation about the future and the changing roles that social media will play in an artist’s outreach and identity.
