The Healing Corner will be screening the documentary “Finally Got The News” at the Dole Library in Oak Park Thursday, February 22nd from 6-8 pm with The People’s Tribune and The Young Patriots. We will have snacks but feel free to bring more! We look forward to the conversation!

Finally Got the News is a 1967 documentary that reveals the trials and tribulations of the League of Revolutionary Black Workers inside and outside the auto factories of Detroit. We will discuss how their struggle relates to current times not only in Chicago, but through inner-cities across the U.S.
