Mokume shibori is a Japanese stitch resist technique that pairs beautifully with natural Indigo dyeing. In this workshop, you will work with organic Indigo dye vats, gentle fibers, and Mokume technique to create a unique handmade fiber art piece.

About the Instructor
Lindsay is a fiber artist and Art Therapist. She received her master’s degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2016 and subsequently founded Yumuko Workshop. Yumuko is an art therapy studio dedicated to teaching sustainability through mindful art practice. All materials used in Yumuko Workshops are sourced from suppliers that recognize the health and value of laborers and the environment.
